The 2016 GREAT PLAINS 8326DV is a versatile tillage implement designed to optimize your productivity in the field. This machine combines disking, cultivating, harrowing, and herbicide incorporation into a single pass. Known for its robust strength, the rugged frame is engineered to flex and hug rolling terrain. The Disc-O-Vator also features the Max-Mix™ shank pattern, which increases chemical incorporation, reduces windrowing, and helps eliminate banding. With a true four-bar design, shanks on the first and second bars are split by the third and fourth bars. On an effective 7" spacing, no shank is closer than 28" on any bar. The Max-Mix shank design evenly spreads residue and uniformly incorporates fertilizer or manure for even distribution. Choose between heavy-duty K-flex shanks with 185 lbs. of point trip force, or spring-loaded Magnum shanks with 205 lbs. of point trip force. Sweep choices are either 9" regular or 9" hard-faced. Hydraulically-Adjustable Coulters allows the depth of the coulters/discs to be changed independently of the shanks. It also enables the residue coverage levels to be adjusted on-the-go.
